An earlier Mead job from May 2025 used 1/8-inch Tidal Wave flake in a roomy garage with eight photos listed. The photos show a floor that runs wall to wall past cabinets along the back wall, a good example of how a coating handles a full garage.

How a Mead floor gets built:
1: Preparing Your Floors
A diamond grinder opens the concrete, with HEPA vacuums controlling dust.
2: Repairing Your Floors
Cracks and spalls are repaired with Penntek menders.
3: Applying the Base-Coat
A Penntek polyurea base-coat is rolled on and primes the slab.
4: Hand-Casting the Chip
Flake is cast over the wet base-coat by hand.
5: Scraping the Chip
The cured surface is scraped and vacuumed to remove loose flake.
6: Sealing the Clear Coat
A UV-resistant polyaspartic clear coat is rolled on to seal it.
