What happens on a Colbert project:

2: Repairing Your Floors
Pits, cracks and joints are filled with Penntek menders and fillers.
3: Applying the Base-Coat
A Penntek 100% solids polyurea base-coat is mixed and rolled on, and it primes the slab as it goes.
4: Hand-Casting the Chip
Decorative flake is broadcast by hand over the wet base-coat.
5: Scraping the Chip
When it cures, we scrape and vacuum away loose flake.
6: Sealing the Clear Coat
The final layer is a UV-resistant polyurea/polyaspartic clear coat.
