A driveway with a contrasting border
The Showcaseās Athol driveway, from January 2023, uses Pecan flake across the main section with Chestnut around the edges, and the photos show the border framing the apron in front of a three-door garage. Exterior flake is a good place to use two colors, since a trim band can frame the apron.
A patio on a new build
The Athol patio in the Showcase, coated in Shale Hybrid in August 2025, was photographed with construction equipment still on the lot. A slab like that can be coated soon after a house is finished, once moisture testing confirms the concrete is ready.
Garages and a basement

How It Works
The six steps on every Athol job:
1: Preparing Your Floors
A diamond grinder opens the surface, with HEPA vacuums controlling dust.
2: Repairing Your Floors
Cracks and joints are filled with Penntek menders until the repairs sit flush.
3: Applying the Base-Coat
A Penntek polyurea base-coat, self-priming and 100% solids, is rolled out.
4: Hand-Casting the Chip
Flake is cast by hand over the wet base-coat.
5: Scraping the Chip
When it has cured, loose flake is scraped and vacuumed off.
6: Sealing the Clear Coat
A UV-resistant polyurea/polyaspartic clear coat is rolled on to finish.
